Why don't you ask around at places you might be interested in and speak to the supervising wardens directly? They could let you know if they have openings and what your responsibilities would be. You may even be able to try the job before committing to see if you enjoy it.

[No, that's not how this is supposed to work, not at all. He mentioned that inmates have jobs and asked if he should get one. She was supposed to say yes, pick something suitable, and tell him to do it. This isn't supposed to be about what he wants, or what he'd enjoy.
He can't say it's like she doesn't even know him, because he's pretty sure she knows exactly what she's doing. And the most annoying part of all is that there's absolutely nothing he can do about it.
