within a very narrow range of temperatures, and only when a certain amount
of moisture is already present in the air at a particular relative
altitude. In the Enclosure I can have a little more control over the
starting conditions, if I really want to practice that. It's essentially
cryogenesis based on how much heat I've absorbed recently, with cryokinesis
to shape and direct the ice once it's been generated. [It's not
every day she gets to explain it more in depth than 'ice powers,' so she'll
take the chance.]

That makes sense. Taking the heat out of something would cause drastic temperature shifts. Are you capable of generating ice simply out of the moisture present in the air to begin with or do you need to be near a larger quantity of water.
She doesn't do much to prepare, and her cabin's on deck 2, so it doesn't take long to get there. Sometimes the Enclosure door is already open, but she decides to wait for Tesla instead of checking to see if it's already in use.
[There's a nod from Tesla, but that's all, before he too heads for the Enclosure. It takes him a bit longer to get there, of course, but he still turns up before too long, nodding to Caitlin as he arrives.]

Well, a tropical island might give me a little more trouble than something temperate, but I can work with just about anything. [A thoughtful beat.] Water helps, too.
[He turns to the controls for a brief moment, but whatever he's setting up doesn't take too long. When he's done, he turns back towards Caitlin and gestures at the door as if to say 'after you'.
Once she steps into the Enclosure, she'll find herself standing on the broken remains of a bridge, standing over a river - while it's warm enough it's also pretty clearly not temperate either.]
If you'd rather, we can go down to the edge of the river, but this is a little more out of the way.
[Not that there's anyone to see what they get up to, but it's the point of the thing.]

Her appearance shifts to match, light hair spilling over dark at the same rate as the frost spreading beneath their feet.]
We're just a little too far away for me to turn the river into an ice rink, but ...

I'm still working out the specifics of making sculptures.

Still, he figures that it's not like he has any idea what is or isn't normal in cases like these. Not to mention he figures that if she hasn't gone out of her way to address it that it's probably not anything out of the ordinary.

I did. I don't mind meeting in person, or continuing here. I'm pretty flexible.
The only places I might want access to are the Enclosure and the Lounge - but I can usually find someone to let me in, if I need it.
