There is a list of people that Frost doesn't want to see. It may not be a very long list, but sitting right at the top of it is Mick, and she knows from the voice on the other side of the door that that's exactly who's here to see her.

She also knows that being Caitlin, instead, wouldn't change a damn thing. It might even make it worse. She might wind up being sorry, and she refuses to do that. For a second she debates the merits of just pretending not to be home, but eventually she gets up and goes to the door, fully prepared to tell him to just go away, maybe freeze something if he isn't inclined to do that.

But when she gets to the door and sees that he looks ridiculous, she stifles a laugh and shakes her head, before letting the door open a little further. She leans on the doorway and looks up at him, unfazed. "You're scared of me," she says proudly.
