THREAD-JACKING: Go for it!
FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Also good!
BACKTAGGING: Definitely!
AVOIDED TOPICS: pregnancy, suicide (a warning for ideation will usually suffice and I'll let you know from there - context is a lot, here)
PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: she/her

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
CURRENT CANON POINT: The Flash 3x18
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

As Killer Frost, she has thick platinum blonde hair and ice blue eyes. Her skin is paler and cool to the touch, and her lips also take on a blue hue. She wears heavier makeup and clothing that is more revealing, tighter, and altogether "edgier." Her voice sounds layered, like there's an echo to it, and she walks with a kind of swaggering confidence. Because she absorbs heat, the air around her is just a little cooler -- enough to be noticeable to most people, but not enough that she can do much with it. For those who would notice, she smells the same as she does when she's Caitlin -- but like that scent has been dried out and freezer-burnt.

As Caitlin, she has brown hair and dark eyes, and dresses fairly modestly. Her style is clean, professional, and classically feminine. She prefers scents that are soft and sweet -- florals and vanilla, mostly -- and she uses these sparingly.

EDIT (1/2/2019): In the months leading up to her graduation (which occurred 12/16/18), Caitlin has taken on physical characteristics of both of her halves. Her hair shifts between dark and light, with her "neutral state" featuring an ombre look that starts dark and fades to light. Her eyes tend to be dark, but will shine silver or blue when she's actively using her powers or when she becomes emotional. While she does often display features of both halves, the extent to which she resembles one or the other depends entirely on her emotional state. Frost is triggered by adrenaline: anger, excitement, fear; Snow is triggered by calm, focus, and patience. At present her appearance is also linked to who she is speaking to - those she has close CR with as one or the other will note that she looks and acts more like the persona that they're more familiar with.

DEMEANOR:

Frost is selfish, callous, and bold, and moves like someone that you ought to be paying attention to. She's long strides in heavy boots, the flourish of flurries hanging in the air, and sweeping gestures that take up space. She has almost no filter, and will say what comes to mind whether she truly believes it or just to get a rise out of others ... or maybe both of these things are true. She needs to be obvious, she needs to be seen. She does not necessarily need to be liked.

Caitlin speaks and carries herself like someone playing the part of a "good girl," but her facial expressions will give away her truer thoughts, the things she thinks she's not allowed to say, if anyone is watching closely. She errs on the side of caution and kindness, giving people the benefit of the doubt more often than not, though as a scientist she is also concerned with and aware of the hard facts.

EDIT (1/2/2019): Up to and following graduation, Caitlin's demeanor is often a blend of the two personalities. She carries herself with Frost's confidence, but is capable of Snow's compassion. She cares for people, but she will just as easily show that care with kindness or with teasing and practical jokes. She has, for the most part, learned how to balance saying what's on her mind with the application of the filter, though she is far from perfect and she's still likely to keep pushing and pushing to get to the core of your truth. She does not like liars and fakes, and will call you on your bullshit if she thinks that you're being dishonest or false.

ABILITIES: As an inmate, Frost’s powers will be reduced. Her healing abilities and “freezing blast” will be removed. Cryogenesis and cryokinesis will be limited -- she can create a handful of ice cubes, a slippery patch, a couple snowballs; certainly nothing as large as ice slides or shields. Her ability to freeze targets and reduce the ambient temperature will be reduced to an area with a 5’ radius, centered on herself. Her temperature reduction ability and chilling breath will be limited to the freezing point (32F/0C). She will need to be in physical contact with the item that she is freezing, instead of also being able to do it at a distance. Her ability to withstand cold temperatures will remain intact.

As Caitlin, she has no access to cryonic powers.
She is a medical doctor with specializations in neurosurgery and metahuman physiology, and a trained field medic with the ability to improvise in less than ideal circumstances.

EDIT (1/2/2019): As of graduation her power caps have been removed and she has full access to all her metahuman abilities.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: She has a high tolerance to cold temperatures and the ability to quickly heal from injuries. Her touch is cooler than one might expect and the air around her is also slightly cooler than normal, due to her ability to absorb heat. This ability also manifests as a requirement for her to absorb a certain amount of heat on a regular basis in order to maintain normal functions and use her powers. (The greater the amount of heat absorbed, the more she can do with her powers.)

CABIN INFORMATION: As of graduation, her cabin is Caitlin's one bedroom apartment in Central City. The cabin door opens into an open concept space that combines a living room, a well-appointed modern kitchen, and formal dining room. One wall features tall windows that look out onto a balcony with a small outdoor table setting. Another, in the living room, has a row of tall bookcases with many, many books and miscellaneous knickknacks and collectibles. There is a ridiculous amount of pillows on the couch. A door directly across from the entry leads to the bedroom, where there are even more pillows, a queen-size bed, and more pink than she's really interested in at the moment. The decor is a blend between classic and modern, mostly muted tones with the occasional pop of color or sparkle, and generally high-end. She keeps it very clean, and the temperature is lower than average.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Frost dislikes any insinuation that she's "really Caitlin" or that she actually cares about Team Flash. Both will have a strong reaction to the concept of dying young and/or dead loved ones. Parental abuse/neglect is a sticking point.

IC PERMISSIONS:
MENTAL: Generally yes, but please ask first! I want to get details squared away especially because of the unique psychological situation she's in.
MIMICRY: Go for it!
VIOLENCE: Yes please!
MAGIC: Yes, but as above with clarifying details.
DEBATE: Absolutely!
OTHER / NOTES: The shifts between Caitlin and Frost are triggered largely by external stimuli, at this point. I'd like to avoid having those shifts happen too frequently, if possible, at least at this time. (Which isn't to say it's bad if she does shift! By all means go ahead -- just not like, multiple times a day.)
